The lovely people at House of Fraser were kind enough to invite me to their SS14 press day the other day, so I of course jumped at the opportunity.

I wandered into their beautiful head office behind Oxford Street, and browsed luxuriantly through rails of beautiful clothes, and secret corners stacked with gorgeous accessories. I can honestly say that we are in for a treat next season at HOF. 

My favourite pieces included black leather joggers and a monochrome embellished trophy jacket from Gestuz (a label I discovered on the day), a royal blue leather biker jacket from Acne which was buttery-soft (I know this because I stood stroking it in admiration for some time...) , and, of course, a pair of bright red Mulberry Bayswater bags in both clutch and tote form.

You can expect a variety of beautiful prints, bold, bright colours, cool, crisp whites and stunning details in the spring. From what I could see, there will be a mixture of sharp, structured tailoring, and loose, relaxed shapes in a wide range of pieces. I for one, can't wait.
