This is a very 'new' post; what with recently purchased items, and my biggest technological advancement since learning how to change the colour of font in '03 (see below gif). After endeavouring to hold out for a plain khaki military jacket, I decided instead that I needed more print in my life, and took myself down to Rokit in Covent Garden, to invest in one of their camo offerings. I was out with a friend a few weeks ago who bought one while I looked jealously on, wishing I could pull it off having inherited my dad's rugby player shoulders; but honestly I don't think it looks too bad, especially since I managed to dig out an extra-long one. It'll be perfect for shrugging on for lectures.
This little chain strap bag was an airport buy from Zara. Before I left I spied it on their website but failed to find it in store. The Zara Heathrow branch had one left and at a Duty Free price, how could I say no?! I've wanted something similar for ages (since I've accepted that I some people will just never be able to afford Chanel.)
And lastly, but not... leastly? Definitely not a word
My shoes. These are Grettta's by my absolute favourite footwear brand of all time: Steve Madden. Seriously, go to their website now; it's shoe porn at its finest. Anyway, I've wanted Grettta's for over a year, but it's impossible ridiculously difficult to obtain them in the UK, so obviously they were at the top of my holiday shopping list. In New York I ambled into the Steve Madden store, and when I regained my senses, stopped spinning round with my arms thrown open, and sobbing hysterically with joy in the presence of true perfection only half exaggerating; I went in search for Grettta. Not only were they reduced from $109 to $89, but the store was having a lucky dip promotion, in which I won $20 off of my purchase.
True happiness for $69.
Look how pretty.
