Do It Yourself

 Headband: DIY
Sweater:  H&M (customised)
Leggings: H&M
Shoes: Converse
Watch: Michael Kors


On Sunday I had a day of DIY-ing; and decided to wear a couple of the results. First of all, is this H&M sweatshirt from the men's section, which needed a snip around the hem so that it would hang a bit better. It's still oversized, but at least it doesn't cling to the wrong places so much anymore.

Then there's my headband, which was actually a silk belt from my local charity shop. It looked a bit naff as a belt, but I fell so in love with the colours and the pattern that I simply had to have it, and decided to convert it into a headband instead. 15minutes of nifty sewing later, and it was circumnavigating my barnet. 

I've got a couple of other projects lined up to do now... I never really thought I'd enjoy customising things, but sewing is sooooo therapeutic!
